P90X – Day 3
Finally got my resistance bands and pull-up bar in the mail yesterday. I bought them off eBay for a fairly good price. I got them just in time for the Shoulders & Arms workout.
The bands were pretty well made but I don’t think they give me enough resistance though. I’m not sure what the weight is. Should have looked it up before I ordered. I had to bundle a few of them together to get to the weight that I wanted. The pull-up bar was not that easy to put together. The holes for the screws were not properly aligned. It took me a while to get everything secured.
So back to the workout: Shoulders & Arms was great! It works on your biceps, shoulders and triceps — Tony calls it “the glamour muscles”. I don’t disagree. It’s much easier than Plyometrics I gotta say. I did all of it with 12-15 reps per set.
I was still struggling with Ab Ripper X. I probably did 40% or 8-10 reps for each of the moves again.
